Our software keeps communications compliant in the shifting landscape of regulation and how people communicate
Umony Mobile Recording
Mobile recording remains a critical part of a compliance communications strategy. Leveraging our partnership with IPC, our software ingests calls and SMS from Tier 1 networks in the UK and EU making content available for archiving.
Umony Instant Messaging Compliance (IMC)
The way that we communicate is changing. Conversations on messaging networks like
WhatsApp and WeChat are becoming increasingly
important in compliant markets.
Our software captures all content including text, images, videos, links and audio files sent between users without needing software to run locally on the user's device. Our unique Instant Messaging Compliance product represents the first solution in this space that is feasible for institutions to deploy without having a negative impact on user experience.
The Umony Archive was created to help institutions with the challenges of storing and
indexing communications data across multiple modes and networks. While many eDiscovery
requests are simple retrieval operations, increasingly institutions are demanding more
of their data.
The Umony Archive is structured to allow for complex custom queries to be run across millions of records in real time. We make this archiving model available as a stand alone product, accessible via our API.
For institutions that do not require the data archive to be held in-house on their own infrastructure, taking our solutions in a hosted configuration may be beneficial. In this configuration an institution takes advantage of automatic updates and a faster time to provision. Support is provided by our partners.
In an on premise configuration, institutions can benefit from hosting their own installations of our software. Our software can be provided in a kubernetes or docker image for deployment or, alternatively, a custom disk image to suit any unique installation requirements. All our software comes with full installation support and an underpinning SLA.
In a blended configuration, institutions can host their own versions of our software with support provided by one of our partners. This model offers preservation of data sovereignty, while also removing some of the IT and management overhead.
Data migration services
We recognise one of the most consistent friction points to deploying a new product is the data migration from an old solution and so we have a dedicated team for handling data migration. To date we have successfully transferred over 4TB (3,443,606 files) from legacy archiving solutions to the Umony Archive, all performed under the umbrella of our ISO 27001 certification.
We have partnered with IPC to bring our products to market, leveraging their support and expertise in deploying and managing in life IT infrastructures used by financial institutions globally.
The underlying architecture of our software platform is a Container model where
instances of components can be easily deployed in Docker or managed by Kubernetes.
To achieve this we leverage our unique combination of expertise in telecoms systems
and Container design and deployment. For institutions that do not use Kubernetes or
Docker to manage their in-house infrastructure, we can provide images or appliances
for deployment within your data centres.
For institutions that do not use Kubernetes or Docker to manage their in-house infrastructure, we can provide a custom disk image for deployment within your data centres.
Umony leverages a model of 'strong encryption, trustless storage' ™. By using a strong encryption model (a hybrid system based on AES256-GCM symmetric coupled with RSA or ECC based asymmetric encryption for the security of the AES keys), we allow the rapid encryption/decryption of media data while utilising the privacy and strength of public/private key cryptography.
